King of Prussia, PA – Eastbound U.S. 422 will be closed and detoured from the split with Benjamin Franklin Highway in Douglass Township, Berks County, to the Stowe Interchange in West Pottsgrove Township, Montgomery County on Wednesday, July 31, and Thursday, August 1, from 9:00 PM to 5:00 AM the following morning for excavation and sign structure work under a project to improve and reconstruct 1.2 miles of U.S. 422 from just east of the Schuylkill River bridge to just west of the Montgomery County line, the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) announced today.
